Meet the member - ABP Food Group

In this month’s ‘meet the member’ we caught up with Dean Holroyd, Group Technical and Sustainability Director at ABP Food Group.

Established since 1954, ABP Food Group is a pan European integrated agri food business spanning 4 divisions (ABP Beef, C&D Pet Food, Proteins, Olleco Renewable Energy) supplying major European retailers and wholesale and foodservice businesses worldwide. The company typically works with around 35,000 farmers across the UK, Ireland and Europe and has an annual turnover of around £2.6bn.

“At ABP Food Group we want to lead on quality, efficiency, traceability and sustainability. To do this, we have a responsibility to ensure the food we supply to retailers, and ultimately consumers, is safe, meets specification and is what it says it is,” explains Dean.
